LAMJUNG: Residents of several settlements in Lamjung district continue to face electricity shortages because the national transmission line has yet to reach their communities, leaving them dependent on micro-hydropower projects whose output has declined.

The affected settlements include Pasgaun and Singdi in Kwholasothar Rural Municipality, as well as a village in Rainas Municipality, where around 20 households are still awaiting connection to the national grid.
