A 31-year-old man, Suraj Majhi of Gramthan Rural Municipality-6, has died after being struck by an unidentified vehicle on the Biratchowk-Ghinaghat road section. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene.
Police discovered Majhi in critical condition at Netachowk around 9:20 PM. He was rushed to Koshi Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities believe Majhi was walking when he was hit. An investigation is underway to locate the vehicle involved in the accident.
