A Local tourist from Pokhara Metropolitan City, Buddhi Bahadur Gurung (29), was found dead in Sabhapokhari on Friday.
According to DSP Ghanshyam Shrestha, Gurung was found in Sabhapokhari Ward 5, Lorumba. Gurung had reportedly visited Sabhapokhari with his son Sagar through Gufa Pokhari on Wednesday.
On Thursday, Sagar encountered locals from Faakuwa and informed them of his father’s illness. Due to a lack of communication access in the area, a helicopter rescue was called for. Sadly, Gurung passed away before reaching aid.
Police completed legal procedures and transported the body to Pokhara via a private helicopter.
