Silver Rate Today (13 October, 2026): The cost of silver dropped in India on Tuesday, 13 October 2026 to ₹235 per gram and ₹2,35,000 per kilogram. The new statistics suggest that there has been a drop of ₹5 per gram or ₹5,000 per kilogram as compared to yesterday’s price of ₹240 per gram. The fall has occurred after the price of silver had maintained a consistent level of ₹2,35,000 per kilogram for some days early this month but rose to ₹2,40,000 on 10 October.
Silver pricing within the country is dependent on global gold rates, the exchange rate between the Indian Rupee and the US dollar, the cost of importing and domestic demand. Another very important factor here is industrial usage since silver is widely used for electronics and solar panels.
For consumers, the latest decline may offer some relief when purchasing silver jewellery, coins or utensils however, the final retail bill can be higher after GST, making charges and other applicable costs. Buyers should compare local dealer quotations before making a purchase.
