SANKHUWASABHA: The Khandbari-Kimathanka road has resumed full service following extensive restoration efforts led by the Nepali Army.

This vital transportation route, which connects Nepal to China, had been closed for three months due to a significant landslide in the Chhumsur area of Bhotkhola Rural Municipality 2.

The landslide, which involved large boulders, completely obstructed vehicular access. The North-South (Koshi) Highway Project had sought the assistance of the Nepali Army to clear the debris.
