Jeep Accident in Palpa Kills Two, Injures 13

A Bolero jeep accident in Palpa on Wednesday evening resulted in the deaths of two individuals, including a 6-year-old child, and left 13 others injured. The victims have been identified as Rajiv Sunari (6) and Tejan Somai (20), both residents of Nisdi Rural Municipality-4. They succumbed to their injuries while receiving treatment.

The accident occurred around 6:30 pm when the jeep (Lu 1 Ja 3324), carrying 15 passengers from Arunkhola in Nawalpur district, was en route to Nisdi Rural Municipality-4 in Palpa. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.

Three of the injured are reported to be in critical condition, while the remaining 10, including the driver, are stable. All the injured are currently receiving medical care at Madhyabindu Hospital in Nawalparasi.
