KATHMANDU: The Government of Japan has extended a grant of assistance of JPY 2.853 billion, equivalent to Rs 2.767 billion, to upgrade air traffic control facilities at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).
Japanese Ambassador to Nepal Maeda Toru and Finance Ministry Secretary Ghanshyam Upadhyaya signed and exchanged the notes for the grant assistance on Thursday, October 8, according to the Embassy of Japan in Nepal.
