iQOO 16 Launch in India Confirmed: The iQOO 16 has been officially confirmed to launch in India. Announced by iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya at the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2026, the flagship device will be one of the country’s first smartphones powered by the ultra-premium Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset. This 2nm processor is built specifically to handle the demands of the “Agentic AI” era, where on-device AI can seamlessly understand user intent, make autonomous recommendations, and invoke processes without lag.

iQOO 16 Launch in India Confirmed: Expected Date

While an exact launch date is not locked in, the iQOO 16 launched in China in late September 2026. Given that local testing is already underway, it is highly anticipated to hit the Indian market by November or December 2026.

Due to a global memory chip crisis and rising production costs, the device is expected to make a jump into the ultra-premium segment, with a predicted price tag close to ₹1,00,000 (compared to the iQOO 15’s ₹85,999 launch price).
