The Sunrisers Hyderabad continued their strong start to IPL 2024 with a 31-run victory over the five-time champion Mumbai Indians. The loss marks Mumbai’s second in a row.

Hyderabad amassed a record-breaking 277 runs for the loss of 3 wickets after being invited to bat first. This surpassed the previous IPL record held by Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2013.
