Four Nepali hydropower projects have renewed their export approval to India. They include the Upper Chameliya, Seti river, Upper Tadi Khola, and Upper Dordi A hydropower projects, totalling 98MW. India continues to refuse to import power from projects with Chinese investment, contractors, and equipment. However, due to the destruction of so many power plants, Nepal may need to import power from India this winter.
