Iga Swiatek has added another record to her beautiful tennis career, becoming the only active player to reach the semifinals at all 10 current WTA 1000 tournaments. The Polish star achieved the feat after defeating Ann Li 6-4, 6-1 in the Wuhan Open 2026 quarterfinals on Friday. The victory also marked Swiatek’s 25th semifinal appearance at the WTA 1000 level.

Since 2009, Swiatek has become the fourth player to reach the semifinals at all 10 current WTA 1000 events, joining Caroline Wozniacki, Svetlana Kuznetsova and Simona Halep. She is the only active player on that list.

Her achievement also puts her in a rare group of players to have reached the semifinals at all four Grand Slam tournaments, the WTA Finals and all 10 current WTA 1000 events.
