The PM Cup NVA Women’s and Men’s Volleyball League kicked off today under the organization of the Nepal Volleyball Association. Tiptop Help Nepal secured the first win in the men’s category.
In the opening match held at Rakhep’s Covered Hall in Tripureshwor, Help Nepal dominated Budhanilkantha Volleyball Club, winning 3 sets to 1. The first two sets went comfortably to Help Nepal, scoring 25-20 and 25-12. Budhanilkantha showed resilience in the third set, edging out Help Nepal 29-27. However, Help Nepal, bolstered by Pakistani players, closed the match by winning the fourth set 25-22.
The first day of the league features a total of 6 matches, with 4 for men and 2 for women. Today’s remaining men’s matches include Nepal Police Club vs. Far West, APF vs. Gandaki Province, and Tribhuvan Army Club vs. Koshi Province.
On the women’s side, APF takes on Chandragiri New Diamond, followed by Nepal Police Club facing Tribhuvan Army Club.
