Gold Prices Drop in Nepal

The price of gold in Nepal’s domestic market witnessed a significant decline Today on Sunday. Fine gold, also known as hallmark gold, saw a drop of Rs 4,000 per tola, reaching Rs 141,000 from Rs 145,000 on Friday. Standard gold followed a similar trend, decreasing to Rs 140,300 per tola from Rs 144,300.

The price of silver also dipped by Rs 75 per tola, settling at Rs 1,825 on Sunday compared to Rs 1,900 on Friday.

This decline in Nepal’s gold and silver market mirrors a global downward trend. The price of gold per ounce on Sunday was $2,293.84, down from $2,386.34 on Friday. Similarly, silver prices fell from $31.51 per ounce to $27.17 per ounce over the same period.
