Gold Price Rises by Rs 500 per Tola

KATHMANDU: The price of gold increased in the Nepali market on Thursday, while the price of silver saw a decline.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold was fixed at Rs 292,800 per tola on Thursday.

The precious metal was traded at Rs 292,300 per tola on Wednesday. Consequently, the price of gold has risen by Rs 500 per tola.

Meanwhile, the price of silver has decreased. Silver, which was traded at Rs 4,425 per tola on Wednesday, dropped by Rs 35 to reach Rs 4,390 per tola on Thursday.
