Fashionistas keen to stay updated with the latest trends will be closely following the latest edition of Lakmé Fashion Week, in partnership with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) and Reliance Brands Limited, taking place in New Delhi from 13 to 18 October 2026 at the Taj Palace, New Delhi. The iconic platform has brought together designers, brands, creators, innovators and industry leaders for over 25 years. “Today, the platform reflects the changing way in which fashion is created, consumed and experienced, bringing together established designers, emerging talent, brands, creators, industry leaders and consumers under one roof,” says Sunil Sethi, Chairman, FDCI.

The FDCI and Lakmé Fashion Week opening show was an iconic collaboration between Lakmé and Tira, featuring the label Pero, known for its distinctive approach to craftsmanship, storytelling and contemporary Indian design. The House of Lakmé Grand Finale features AM.IT by Amit Aggarwal. It will bring together fashion and beauty in a singular runway experience.

“With over 400 members spanning designers, brands, educational institutions, corporates and industry professionals, FDCI continues to play a pivotal role in strengthening Indian fashion both nationally and internationally. Rooted in India’s rich design heritage, FDCI continues to champion the country’s creative talent and the broader business of fashion,” explains Sethi.
