A 62-year-old resident of Sanothimi, Ram Thapa, tragically died on Thursday evening after being struck by a motorcycle. The accident occurred near the local army barracks at approximately 7 PM. Mr. Thapa was rushed to Madhyapur Hospital Thimi but sadly succumbed to his injuries shortly after at 7:21 PM.
The motorcyclist involved in the incident fled the scene, and authorities are currently searching to locate the individual. Mr. Thapa’s body has been transferred to KMC Duwakot Hospital where a post-mortem examination will be conducted.
