Tragedy struck Bhaktapur as a 66-year-old man lost his life to electrocution while irrigating fields. The incident occurred around 3 p.m. on Wednesday when Ganeshman Gore was electrocuted while using river water to irrigate a field in Bhaktapur Municipality-2 Kalighat.
District Police Complex’s Information Officer, DSP Basanta Pathak, shared that Gore suffered severe injuries from the electric shock. Despite receiving prompt medical attention, he succumbed to his injuries at 3:30 a.m. while undergoing treatment at Bhaktapur Hospital.
