The Singapore Grand Prix 2026 will take Formula 1 to the Marina Bay Street Circuit from October 9 to 11, with the 17th round of the season bringing the championship’s final Sprint weekend of the year. Singapore will host an F1 Sprint for the first time, while the main Grand Prix will be held under the floodlights on Sunday, October 11.

The 4.927-kilometre Marina Bay circuit remains one of the toughest venues on the F1 calendar, with 62 laps scheduled for the Grand Prix. George Russell is the defending Singapore winner, while Lewis Hamilton holds the track lap record of 1:33.808, set in 2025.

The drivers will have more than Singapore’s humidity to contend with this weekend. The FIA has declared a Heat Hazard for the Singapore Grand Prix after forecasts indicated that temperatures could exceed 31°C.

The declaration means teams must fit the components of the FIA-approved driver cooling system to their cars. Drivers can choose not to use the cooling system, but doing so carries a 0.5kg ballast penalty.
