Employee interests will be protected, says Energy Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar

Energy Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar and AP-Genco Managing Director S. Nagalakshmi giving away the letter of compassionate appointment to a beneficiary, at the Secretariat on Wednesday.

Energy Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar handed over compassionate appointment letters to 27 persons at the Secretariat on Wednesday, taking the total number so far to 627.

Speaking on the occasion, he said the Energy Department was committed to protecting the employees performing duties sometimes at grave risk. He noted that jobs were being given to the family members of the employees who died accidentally within four months.
