MUSTANG: More than 2,500 electric vehicles imported through the Korala border point remain stranded in Mustang following the disruption of the Beni-Jomsom road caused by heavy rainfall on Sept. 27.

Although the road has reopened, poor conditions have prevented the vehicles from reaching their final destinations.

According to the Armed Police Force border outpost in Lomanthang-4, Nhechung, over 2,000 vehicles are currently parked at the open plateau near the border and the Mustang customs yard.

Inspector Prakash Dhital, in charge of the border outpost, stated that authorities are facilitating the movement of vehicles after customs clearance.
