The Telangana government has announced financial assistance of ₹6 lakh to the family of Vavilala Sudarshan Goud, a native of Hasanabad village in Jagtial district, who was killed in the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict. The assistance was sanctioned by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy following the intervention of Welfare Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar.

Sudarshan Goud had reportedly travelled to Ukraine about four months ago in search of employment opportunities. He lost his life amid missile and drone attacks in the war-affected region, leaving his family devastated.

Expressing deep anguish over the incident, the Chief Minister conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family and assured them of the government’s support during their time of grief.
