Manchester City Win

London – Kevin De Bruyne once again proved his indispensable value to Manchester City, leading the team to a 4-2 victory over Crystal Palace. The Belgian midfielder marked his return to the starting lineup with a stunning long-range goal and an assist, becoming the only City player to ever reach a century of goals and assists for the club.

City found themselves trailing early after a swift goal from Jean-Philippe Mateta. However, De Bruyne’s 13th-minute equalizer, a powerful strike from outside the box, ignited a surge of dominance that saw City take a commanding 4-1 lead by the 70th minute.

De Bruyne’s second goal, along with strikes from Rico Lewis and Erling Haaland, sealed the victory and kept City’s Premier League title hopes alive.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola was effusive in his praise for De Bruyne, stating, “We can’t win without him… He is one of the best players in City history.” Guardiola highlighted De Bruyne’s exceptional goal, assist, and overall performance as crucial to the win.

De Bruyne’s remarkable consistency and longevity were also underscored by Guardiola, who noted the midfielder’s ability to maintain high-performance levels for nine years at the club.
