Mia Goth, a 30-year-old British actress, is facing a lawsuit from background actor James Hunter, who alleges she kicked him in the head during the filming of the horror movie “MaXXXine” last year.

According to court documents obtained by E! News, Hunter played a “Dead Parishioner” in a scene where Goth’s character was supposed to step over him. He claims that after narrowly avoiding being stepped on during the fourth take, he voiced his concern to the second assistant director. However, on the next take, Hunter alleges Goth deliberately kicked him in the head with her boot, causing immediate pain and stiffness.

Despite reporting the incident to the assistant director, who informed Goth and director Ti West, Hunter says he received no medical attention. He further claims that Mia later invaded his privacy in a bathroom, harassing him with verbal taunts and dares.

Adding to the allegations, Hunter states he was abruptly removed from the film just two days before filming wrapped in April 2023. Casting notified him via email and phone call, not to explain his sudden dismissal.

Goth and her representatives have yet to publicly comment on the lawsuit. The allegations cast a shadow over the actress, known for her roles in films like “Suspiria” and “Pearl,” and raise questions about on-set safety and actor behavior.

The case is currently ongoing, and its outcome will depend on legal proceedings and evidence presented by both parties. It’s important to note that these are just allegations, and Goth has not been convicted of any wrongdoing.
