Police visited Mamata AITC national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee's residence on Sunday (October 11, 2026) and served a notice summoning him for another round of questioning in connection with the Camac Street party office billboard case, an officer said.

This is the police's second visit to the Diamond Harbour MP's Kalighat house in a week for the same purpose. On October 7, Banerjee was not present at home, and no one was available to receive the notice.
