A Morang resident, Anil Sherpa, passed away on Tuesday after a fatal electrocution incident. The 37-year-old from Berakhuni, Morang Belbari Municipality-9, operated a chicken farm on his property.
According to District Police Office Morang spokesperson DSP Gyanendra Bahadur Basnet, Sherpa was connecting a fan inside the chicken farm around 9:20 am when he came into contact with a live wire.
Despite being rushed to Nobel Teaching Hospital in Biratnagar for treatment, Sherpa was unfortunately pronounced dead on arrival by medical professionals.
