Indian para archers are in action across team and doubles events at the Asian Para Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, on Tuesday, October 20. Sheetal Devi, Harvinder Singh, Bhawna and Toman Kumar are among the Indian athletes competing today.
Sheetal has been one of India’s standout performers so far. The 19-year-old equalled the women’s compound qualification world record with 704 points out of 720, setting a new Asian record.
She then scored 149 out of 150 in the round of 16 to surpass the previous elimination-round world record of 148. Victories over Agustina Bantoc of the Philippines and Japan’s Aya Shinohara took her into the women’s compound individual final. She is also scheduled to compete alongside Payal Nag in the women’s compound doubles event.
