The ALLIANZ Malaysia Super 100 2026 is set to get underway on October 13, bringing six days of competitive badminton to the EduCity Sports Complex in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. Running until October 18, the tournament is expected to feature around 300 shuttlers from more than 25 countries, with a USD 120,000 prize pool and crucial world ranking points up for grabs. The event offers an important opportunity for emerging players to make their mark on the international circuit, test themselves against unfamiliar opponents and build momentum for bigger tournaments ahead. With qualifying rounds and early knockout matches opening the competition, the first few days could provide a glimpse of the next generation of badminton talent.

Home players will also have plenty to prove, with Malaysia hoping to maintain its strong record at the tournament after winning two titles in each of the previous editions. The pressure will be on local shuttlers and newly formed combinations to make the most of familiar conditions, particularly with the Badminton Association of Malaysia expecting strong performances on home soil. The action will progress from the early rounds to the round of 16 on October 15, followed by the quarterfinals on Friday, semifinals on Saturday and championship matches on Sunday.
