Customs officials at Tribhuvan International Airport seized 850 grams of gold on Friday at approximately 2 PM. The gold was discovered in the airport’s arrival tunnel gate.
An Indian woman, Sahina Praveen, had concealed the gold in plastic and disguised it with black tape. Further investigations are likely underway.
