A 5.0 magnitude earthquake struck near Tokyo on Wednesday night.
The quake registered an intensity level of 4 in Mito (Ibaraki Prefecture), Ichikai (Tochigi Prefecture), and Noda (Chiba Prefecture).
According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, the quake’s epicenter was located in northern Ibaraki at a depth of 60 kilometers and occurred around 8:40 p.m.
