Police in Rautahat, Nepal, have arrested three Indian nationals suspected of involvement in a robbery attempt that left a money transfer operator critically injured. The incident occurred on Friday afternoon in Paroha Municipality-9.
The victim, 26-year-old Nitesh Sah, owner of Shiva Money Transfer, was shot by a group of robbers. Police immediately mobilized and apprehended three suspects: Munif Kumar Yadav (19), Rajkumar Paswan (18), and Chandrabhan Singh (20), all Indian citizens.
Authorities are investigating the suspects for potential charges of attempted murder, arms offenses, and robbery. Evidence recovered from the scene includes a motorcycle, pistol bullets, and additional unspecified items.
Nitesh, who was injured in the shooting, was treated at LS Neuro Hospital in Parwanipur.
DSP Giri of District Police Office Rautahat informed that he was sent to Tilganga Eye Hospital in Kathmandu for further treatment due to an eye problem.
