Chitwan, Nepal – A young man from Bara tragically lost his life after setting himself on fire in Bharatpur Metropolitan Municipality.
Rajababu Jaiswal, a 22-year-old resident of Gadhimai Municipality-4 in Bara, took his own life by dousing himself in petrol and igniting the flames while alone in his bedroom. The incident occurred on Monday afternoon.
Despite efforts to save him, Jaiswal succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday at 10:40 PM while receiving medical treatment at Kirtipur Hospital in Kathmandu. According to District Police Office Chitwan’s Deputy Superintendent of Police Bhesraj Rijal, the investigation into the motive behind this tragic act is ongoing.
