Lalitpur, Nepal – A 64-year-old woman succumbed to her injuries on Saturday after jumping from the third floor of Harisiddhi Cancer Hospital in Lalitpur on August 8th.
Punmaya Tamang, a resident of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, was admitted to the hospital for thyroid cancer treatment. The circumstances surrounding her decision to jump remain unclear, and local authorities are investigating the incident.
Despite immediate medical attention in the Intensive Care Unit, Tamang tragically passed away on Saturday.
