A tragic incident unfolded in Chaurjahari Municipality-2 Bijayashwari, Rukum West, where a 32-year-old woman, Dipa Kumal, allegedly murdered her 40-year-old husband, Madhu Kumal.
According to police reports, the incident occurred early this morning when Dipa struck her husband on the head with a wooden object, leading to his untimely demise. The couple’s 18-year-old son, Khim Kumal, alerted the local police about the horrific crime.
A police team from the Chaurjahari Area Police Office promptly responded to the scene and apprehended the accused woman. The body of the deceased husband has been transported to the district hospital for a post-mortem examination.
Initial investigations suggest that a domestic dispute triggered the fatal attack. Authorities are currently conducting a thorough investigation to ascertain the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
