WASH status report launched

LALITPUR: The National Statistics Office (NSO) has made public a report including an index analyzing the water supply and sanitation situation at local level (all 753 local governments) across the country.

The WASH Situation Report, 2026 was made public at an event organized by the National Statistics Office in Lalitpur on Friday.

Launching the report, Chief Statistician Laxmi Basnet said statistics will help implement development and infrastructure projects that need to be prioritized in the water and sanitation sectors.
