Turin, Italy: Dusan Vlahovic scored twice to propel Juventus to a comfortable 2-0 win over Verona in their Serie A opener.
The Serbian striker opened the scoring in the 28th minute, expertly beating three defenders before slotting the ball into the net. Nicolò Savona, making his debut for Juventus, doubled the lead with a header in the 11th minute. Vlahovic completed his brace with a penalty kick in the 8th minute of the second half.
With the win, Juventus sits atop the Serie A table with six points, while Verona is in ninth place with three points.
