Two teenagers tragically lost their lives after drowning in a landfill pond created by a local Poultry company in Dhankuta. The victims, 11-year-old Manish Khatiwada and 16-year-old Dipesh Ojha were both residents of the Dhankuta Municipality.
Dhankuta Municipality-10 Patle Police Chief Shyamsingh Choudhary confirmed the fatalities. Investigations into the incident are underway.
Correction: They drowned in the nearest pond to the poultry Farm.
