Sindhuli, Nepal: Two tragic incidents occurred in Sindhuli district on Monday, resulting in the deaths of two individuals.
A 28-year-old man, Gyan Bahadur Bholan, lost his life after being swept away by the Chuniya River. Bholan, a resident of Marin Rural Municipality-7, Dadhidamar, was returning home from grazing his goats when the incident occurred. His body was recovered approximately 300 meters downstream.
In a separate incident, 22-year-old Lalimaya Bal from Tudikhel Ward No. 1 of the same rural municipality fell from a mountain while herding. She was found unconscious at the bottom of the cliff and was rushed to the International Hospital in Bhaktapur for treatment. Unfortunately, Bal succumbed to her injuries.
