Saptari: A truck driver lost his life in a tragic accident in Saptari district on Tuesday morning.
According to Saptari District Police Spokesperson DSP Dhundiraj Neupane, the deceased has been identified as 25-year-old Sabin Rai, a resident of Urlabari Municipality-1 in Morang.
The 12-wheeler carrying a load of clinker veered off the road and plunged approximately 20 meters into a ravine at around 6:30 AM in Shambhunath Municipality-5. Rai was trapped inside the vehicle and died at the scene.
Police are currently working to recover the body with the assistance of cranes and excavators.
