A tiger was discovered dead in the shed of a resident in Manhari Rural Municipality-6, Pratapur. The incident occurred early Tuesday morning.
The tiger was found near an injured buffalo in Bal Bahadur Rai’s shed. Deputy Superintendent of Police Lakshmi Bhandari stated that the cause of the tiger’s death remains unclear.
The Nepali Army believes the tiger, which appeared to be elderly, may have died after a confrontation with the buffalo. The Chitwan National Park team has taken possession of the deceased animal for further investigation.
As the incident site falls within the jurisdiction of Chitwan National Park, the park authorities will be conducting a thorough investigation to determine the exact cause of the tiger’s death.
