A young child has tragically lost his life after drowning in the Narayani River in Gaindakot. The incident occurred on Friday afternoon when Suman Manandhar, a three-year-old boy from Gaindakot Municipality-9 Thumsi, slipped and fell into the river while playing near the dam.
Despite efforts to save him, the child was pronounced dead on Friday night at Bharatpur Hospital where he was taken for emergency medical treatment.
Local authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the drowning.
