Square Enix has announced that the third part of Final Fantasy VII remake will not be exclusive for future generations of console. During an interview, the Naoki Hamaguchi Director revealed that the development of the title has been having swollen sails for about nine months, and answering a question clarified that it does not intend to release it as exclusive for a possible PlayStation 6.

Hamaguchi-San then spoke of exclusivity, reflecting on the company’s will to release future titles in multiplatform. Although at the moment it cannot guarantee anything, the Director would like the game to be played by as many players as possible and that any versions for PC or other platforms are released more closely than what happens now.

Speaking of the development of the game Hamaguchi-San, he confirmed that the script written by Kazushige Nojima has undergone some reviews to make the most of the sense of conclusion of the entire trilogy. For this reason 2025 the Director provides that the development will continue in a shipped way, following the screen that has created together with its team in order to create the vision of this last chapter.

We just have to wait to find out more about the conclusion of the remake of Final Fantasy VII.
