This year Bandai Namco is starting with everything if we talk about video games, because in the course of three weeks in January we already saw the arrival of some remasters such as Tales of Graces and Freedom Wars, as well as the revelation of some other games. And while you might think that we were going to rest this week, apparently not, given that a promising new shooter has arrived on all platforms, and will surely attract the attention of more than one player.
PvPvE extraction shooter SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada has left Early Access and is available today for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. This title invites players to embark on a futuristic adventure set in 2222, years after a phenomenon known as “The Tears of the New Moon” devastated humanity and gave rise to deformed creatures that now hunt survivors.
In the game, users take on the role of Drifters, pilots who operate customizable mechs called CRADLECOFFINS, as they search for AO crystals, a scarce but essential resource. With the help of Magus, a humanoid artificial intelligence, players receive tactical support and combat skills as they fight to survive against Ultimators, xenomorph creatures, and other players competing for the same resources in a hostile terrain filled with toxic rain.
Here you can see its trailer:
As for the plot, it takes place in a world where humans have built an underground shelter called Amasia, collaborating with AI Magus to explore the ruins on the surface. These AIs not only offer personalized analysis on raids, but can also be extensively customized, providing a unique approach to each player. Cooperation with other users is optional, but alliances can break down quickly in this competitive environment.
Each of the robots is fully customizable, with options to upgrade their endurance, carrying capacity, and weaponry. Resources collected in missions can be used to craft new parts and optimize the garage, allowing players to develop a more powerful and efficient mech to take on the challenges of the world of SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada.
Remember that you can now purchase it on consoles and PC, except for Nintendo Switch.
