Sydney Sweeney is getting into the Christmas spirit by recreating some of the most memorable moments from the holiday classic Home Alone for her lingerie and loungewear brand, SYRN. The Euphoria star’s latest promotional video features references to Kevin McCallister’s famous aftershave scream, his ice cream indulgence and the suspense surrounding the family’s empty house.

The festive campaign comes weeks after Sweeney found herself at the centre of a controversy over her nearly nude advertisement for sports betting platform Novig which drew criticism from female athletes who said it sexualised women’s sport.

The video opens with Sweeney standing in front of a bathroom mirror, wearing a plunging navy blue top beneath a cropped cardigan, with her blonde hair styled in loose waves. She splashes liquid onto her face before placing both hands against her cheeks and letting out a dramatic scream, recreating one of the most recognisable scenes from Home Alone in which Kevin McCallister applies aftershave.

The actress continues the holiday tribute in another scene, wearing a burgundy loungewear set while holding a small white dog. When a shadowy figure appears behind a curtain, she widens her eyes in alarm, offering a playful reference to the film’s home invasion storyline.
