A significant portion of the road north of Kathmandu Plaza has collapsed, creating a sinkhole and disrupting traffic in the area. The incident occurred overnight, causing severe congestion as authorities closed the road for safety reasons.
The affected road section connects Mahendra Salik at Darbarmarg to Krishna Pauroti Chowk in Kamaladi. Given its one-way traffic system, the closure has led to substantial traffic jams in the surrounding area.
