Solukhumbu: A rescue operation has successfully saved seven individuals trapped in the floodwaters of the Thame River in Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality, Ward 5. The Nepali Army carried out the daring rescue, according to Solukhumbu’s Chief District Officer, Devi Pandey Khatri.
While the rescued individuals are safe, the full extent of human losses from the disaster is still being assessed.
The flood has caused significant damage to the village, with three houses swept away and several others in danger of collapse.
Efforts are underway to assess the situation and provide necessary aid to the affected residents.
