The Baltimore Ravens, Atlanta Falcons and Washington Commanders showed their power this Sunday in their respective victories over the Denver Broncos, Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants, in week 9 of the 2024 NFL season.
In the game in which the Ravens beat the Broncos 41-10, Lamar Jackson shined, with three touchdown passes, and Derrick Henry, with two rushing touchdowns that made him the number eight with the most rushing scores in the history of the NFL, with 101.
Henry rushed for 106 yards, putting him over 1,000 yards midway through the season. With the victory, Baltimore remains second in the North of the American Conference (AFC) with 6-3, Denver fell to third place in the West of the AFC, with 5-4.
In Atlanta, Kirk Cousins led the Falcons’ 27-24 victory over the Dallas Cowboys with three touchdown passes, which extended their crisis. Falcons maintained the lead in the South of the National Conference (NFC) with a 6-3 record. Cowboys remained number three in the NL East with 3-5. Dallas lost Dak Prescott in the fourth quarter to a hamstring injury.
In another game, the Washington Commanders beat the New York Giants 22-27 with a good performance by Jayden Daniels, who passed for 209 yards and two passes to the end zone that Terry McLaurin caught.
Washington 7-2 remains the best in the NFC East at 7-2, a division in which the Giants are last at 2-7.
Also this Sunday, the Carolina Panthers beat the New Orleans Saints 23-22, who have accumulated seven consecutive losses. In this game, Chris Olave, a 24-year-old catcher for the Saints, left the game with a concussion he suffered in the first quarter. It is the fifth concussion he has suffered in his career.

Later they will play Eagles-Jaguars, Cardinals-Bears, Packers-Lions, Seahawks-Rams and Vikings-Colts. Week 9 will close with the duel between the champions Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers this Monday.
