Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has been invited to attend the upcoming Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) conference, set to take place in Qatar this October. The invitation was extended by Qatar’s Ambassador to Nepal, Misal Mohammad Al Ansari, on behalf of the King of Qatar.
The invitation was presented during a courtesy meeting at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Darbar. The ACD platform, which includes 35 member countries including Nepal, provides a forum for dialogue and cooperation among Asian nations. The 19th ministerial meeting of the ACD was recently held on June 24, 2024, in Iran. Nepal has been an active member of the ACD since joining the platform in 2016.
During their meeting, Prime Minister Oli and Ambassador Ansari also discussed various aspects of the bilateral relationship and areas of mutual interest between Nepal and Qatar.
