What would Jenga be like if human lives were at stake? That’s what the developers of All Will Fall asked themselves, a new post-apocalyptic city management game with a physics-based building construction system.
In a post-apocalyptic world almost completely submerged by oceans, it will be up to us to govern the last bastion of humanity and rebuild it in the only direction left: upwards. We’ll have to carefully stack buildings with real-world building rules in mind, manage people’s needs, and make tough decisions to keep society and the city we live in from collapsing in on itself.
Buildings will need to be constructed in all three dimensions to create optimized production chains to help the city reach new heights, but it will be necessary to pay close attention to the rules of physics to ensure the structures don’t collapse. It will also be possible to govern in a benevolent manner by trying to take care of the population, or like tyrants and punish dissent with force.
“With All Will Fall, we set out to create a unique mix of physics, simulation and management mechanics for city builders and strategy enthusiasts,” said Dominykas Kiauleikis and Danas Matusevičius, the game’s developers. “We want the game to be accessible but deep and allow players to tinker with its many systems without being afraid of breaking something. Being a Lithuanian studio, we are excited to shine a spotlight on our local game development scene. On behalf of our small but passionate team, we hope All Will Fall lands on the radars of many city builder enthusiasts!”
Developed by All Parts Connected and published by tinyBuild, All Will Fall will be released during 2025 on PC via Steam. Also on Steam it is possible to request access to a trial version which will be available until January 31st.
