Police have arrested a man in connection with the disappearance of 30-year-old Bir Bahadur Bhujel from Manthali Municipality-1, Ramechhap. Bhujel has been missing since Friday night, and police are searching for him in the Tamakoshi River.
The arrested man is 27-year-old Min Bahadur BK, also from Manthali-1. Deputy Superintendent of Police Pradeep Kumar Singh said BK was with Bhujel on the evening he disappeared, and he has been detained for questioning.
Locals reported that there was a fight between Bhujel and BK on Friday. Police are currently taking BK’s statement.
