A 55-year-old man was tragically killed in a road accident on Sunday in Bara district, Nepal. The victim, Adhikari Yadav, was struck by a pickup truck while cycling on the Simraungadh-Tamagadhi road section.
The incident occurred in Padri village, where the pickup truck, with the license plate number 2-01-4920, was traveling from Kolhavi towards Simraungadh. Yadav was carrying vegetables on his bicycle at the time of the accident.
Local police authorities have detained the pickup truck and its two occupants, Sajan Chaudhary and Prince Jaiswal, for further investigation. Both individuals have been accused of driving the vehicle at the time of the accident, though each is blaming the other. The driver’s license is reportedly in the possession of Sajan Chaudhary.
